1. Total Time ($T$)
$T = t_{eq} + (t_{run} \times N) + t_{wash}$
  • $t_{eq}$: Equilibration Time
  • $t_{run}$: Run Time per injection
  • $N$: Number of Injections
  • $t_{wash}$: Wash/Purge Time
2. Exact Volume ($V_{exact}$)
$V_{exact} = T \times F$

Where $F$ = Flow Rate (mL/min).

3. Recommended Prep Volume ($V_{prep}$)
$V_{prep} = V_{exact} \times (1 + \frac{\text{Margin \%}}{100})$
